ReinDog Parade

Reindog Parade Rained Out

The Mt. Adams Business Guild in discussion with the SPCA Cincinnati has canceled the December 21, 2013 Reindog Parade.  Rather than fight the predicted Saturday monsoon, moving the event to Spring keeps the Reindog Parade’s Best Friend, Marty Brennaman, ready and available to lead canines and their owners through the streets of Mt. Adams.  The raffle will still be held.

The new date will be announced as soon as possible.  Pet Suites, Iams, Towne Properties, Kroger, Invisible Fence, Bahl & Gaynor Investment Counsel, Hixson Engineering, Empower Media Marketing are the sponsors.  We thank them for their loyal support to the community and their animal friends.

Snapshots from the 2012 Annual Reindog Parade

Voted the “Best Family Event” in Cincinnati, this unique event takes place every December.  The 2 p.m. procession through the streets of Mt. Adams was led by Santa himself.  Categories are: small dogs (under 25 lbs), large dogs (over 25 lbs) dog/owner look-a-like and group entries (2 or more dogs). The parade concludes with a short program, prizes, fun, and food.

Harold Dates, President & CEO of SPCA Cincinnati presents Pat Sheppard and Sandy Zimmerman of the Mt. Adams Business Guild with a plaque at the 2012 parade, thanking them for their 22 years of service to the Reindog Parade. View more photos from the parade with this short slideshow below.
