Thank you, Community Partners!

We at SPCA Cincinnati are grateful for the invaluable support of our community partners, who work alongside us to fulfill our mission. We couldn't do what we do without you.

Schiff Insurance

There has been a Schiff family member involved with SPCA Cincinnati for nearly 50 years. Currently that member is Tom Schiff, a recipient of the PB Johnston Humane Care award. Tom has been a generous contributor and friend to staff and furry friends. There isn’t an event he does not support, even helping design a special event recognizing donors in his own home.

USI Insurance

Tom Chatham, SPCA Cincinnati Board Chair is actively involved in raising awareness among his business colleagues as to the importance of supporting the plight of homeless and unwanted animals entrusted to our care. Tom has been known as a matchmaker-finding humans for pets who need homes! USI Insurance has been a generous supporter of our events over the years.

Cincinnati Equitable Life Insurance Company

Cincinnati Equitable Chairman, Peter Alpaugh has served on SPCA Cincinnati’s Board of Trustees for many years. He and his wife Vicki are true devotees of animals everywhere, with a penchant for cats. We are grateful for our long-standing friendship with the company.

Miamitown Pet Hospital

For many years veterinarians and staff at Miamitown Pet Hospital have spayed and neutered pets to prepare them for adoption at SPCA Cincinnati. Led by Dr. Michael Frederick and others, the staff welcomes many injured and abused animals from SPCA Cincinnati addressing urgent care needs before altering surgery. Thanks to the Miamitown Pet Hospital, we are able to place more animals into forever homes.

IAMS™

We are proud to have IAMS™, a MARS brand, for yet another year of sponsorship and support of shelter pets across our great city. They have been a valued partner for the past two decades sponsoring our Adopt-A-Pet Fund, Fur Ball, and others. Their dedication, support, and commitment to donating truckloads of dog and cat food over the years has helped provide critical nutrition and answered the needs of our shelters for tens of thousands of animals in our care.

Care Center

Care Center, located within minutes of our Sharonville shelter is a trusted and vitally important partner to SPCA Cincinnati. The staff at Care Center assists us with emergency services to provide immediate care to animals, often involving complex treatments or even surgery. Their contribution to the care of animals is an important reason we save so many lives.

Bounty

Bounty is “The Official Quicker Picker Upper of SPCA Cincinnati.” We are excited to be partnering with them and their supply of Bounty paper towels for our shelters will ensure a better place for all of our animals. Our staff uses Bounty paper towels daily in both of our shelters and on our mobile adoption units. They also supported us by joining us at our 16th Annual Fur Ball Gala as our Platinum Sponsor. We are grateful for their support and partnership!

Cincinnati Reds

The Cincinnati Reds are an invaluable supporter of our mission. SPCA Cincinnati has a longstanding partnership with the Reds and their special Bark in the Park games, where guests can enjoy the excitement of Reds baseball alongside their pet at Great American Ball Park.

Pet Valu

A wonderful friend of SPCA Cincinnati, the folks at Pet Valu are always thinking of our animals with regular donations of food and pet supplies. Check out their stores for mobile adoption visits and future events!  There are some exciting things SPCA Cincinnati will be doing with Pet Valu.

Local 12 WKRC-TV

It would be hard to find a more loyal, supportive and generous friend to SPCA Cincinnati than that of Local 12, Cincinnati’s CBS affiliate television station. Since 1988, SPCA staff have brought dogs and cats into the homes of hundreds of thousands of viewers annually to promote their adoption, and the continued support of animal welfare through our annual Adopt-a-Pet Fund TV show (telethon). The hundreds of thousands of dollars raised through the telethon have supported our efforts to care for unwanted and homeless animals in the Tri-State.

WGRR-FM

Being Married with Microphones allows Chris O’Brien and his wife, Janeen Coyle together to talk about one of their most precious causes, animal welfare. Adopted pet owners themselves, their care and concern for animals shines through every Wednesday morning during “Franks Friends,” one of the most popular radio segments in the Tri-State. Frank was a Pug-not just any Pug, just ask Janeen who wrote a children’s book about him. Frank passed away and within weeks, SPCA Cincinnati had found his earthly successor, Tank. Janeen and Tank are inseparable, as is our relationship with this fun-loving and supportive couple who rarely turn down a request to emcee, judge a contest or present an award at our special events.
